How long have you been into competitive fitness?
I began my journey in 2011 when I was a senior in high school.
How did you get into competitive fitness?
I started to prepare for my spring season on my high school rowing team.
What's your drive for continuing competitive fitness?
I recognize how fortunate I have been to be granted an opportunity to compete and make a career in this community. A lot of things had to go right to put me here. I was born into a supportive and loving family at the right time and in the right place. The only thing I have to do is work hard to take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way. My motivation in is founded in this deep sense of gratitude.
What are your favorite movement?
Snatch and ring muscle ups
What is your least favorite movement?
Hang power cleans
What is your most memorable moment?
Taking a trip to Iceland for the Reykjavik Championships with a group of really great friends and family.
Advice to new people?
Take your time to learn how to move properly and safely. Don't ever be afraid to take steps back to rebuild and reassess. Play the long game.
